Yurt Villages
The YURT VILLAGES Presented by American Express and Resy: There’s a new way to dine outdoors this winter. Experience the magic of the season at 13 restaurants nationwide, in cozy winter pop-ups. This collection of heated tents, popping up at restaurants throughout the US, is available exclusively to American Express ® Card Members.
If you have an Amex card, add it to your Resy profile to unlock access. Once you do this, you will see a "Yurt" option (in addition to "Sidewalk" and "Indoors") if it is available. Centurion and Platinum cardholders have special access to seats not available on Resy, reach out to your Amex Concierge for availability. Reservations are available 30 days in advance.
Fairfax is offering this special dining experience including a prix-fixe dinner menu for $88 per person (not including beverages, tax and gratuity). Tickets are final sale, and not refundable. The whole meal is designed to last one hour and 45 minutes.
Yurt Office Hours (aka Breakfast. Wifi provided, laptops invited!) and Lunch reservations are now available! Breakfast includes a $30 per person menu and Lunch a $45 per person menu. Non-alcoholic beverages are included in both.

Sidewalk vs. Yurt Reservations
If you have booked an OUTDOOR table:
Please be aware of the weather on the day of your visit! It's sweater weather season, so please come dressed in warm clothes. Most of our outdoor tables are protected by partially enclosed vestibules, but we're keeping it safe with the air still flowing. There are heaters spaced throughout the vestibule but are not positioned over every single table.
It's cozy and the heaters heat, but don't forget to bundle up and order one of our hot cocktails to keep you comfy!
If you have booked a YURT:
The Yurt experience is designed to last one hour and 45 minutes with specific seating times, so please be on time on the day of your visit! Yurt reservations are prepaid and non-refundable. Tickets do not include extra beverages, tax and gratuity.
YOUR RESERVATION WILL CLEARLY SAY EITHER SIDEWALK OR YURT. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE TYPE OF RESERVATION YOU ARE BOOKING!

We have two types of dining: OUTDOOR and YURT— please verify that you've booked your preference prior to your visit! The two are not interchangeable. We’re always happy to try, but we cannot guarantee that if you've booked outdoors that we can move you into a Yurt on the day of your visit.

We ask that you kindly honor the time of your reservation — we have a 15 minute grace period for your arrival, but due to capacity restrictions, shortened hours of operations, and social distancing guidelines, we are unable to accommodate any increases in party size or change in reservation time.
We’ve moved to all electronic communication . The best way to reach us is through email at hello@happycookingnyc.com or by responding to the confirmation texts your receive from Resy. We return all messages!

We're operating in accordance with OSHA, CDC and DOH guidance, which means that we've layered many new safety protocols into our already rigorous hygiene and cleanliness procedures.

Everyone wears a mask, and if you forget yours, we have one for you
Tables are all outdoors and are spaced six feet apart
Guests are expected to wear a mask whenever they enter indoors to use the restroom
